The office and hotel programme is contained within a singular glass clad form. The different uses of the building require different floor to floor heights, planning grids and glazing apertures and so a veil made from circular aluminium fins wraps around the form uniting each facade. The veil lifts up at ground level to define entrances and sails past a double height roof terrace. The veil has an environmental role too, assisting in mitigating solar gain.
